Lamia Boubakri is currently working in the Department of Chemistry at University of Carthage in Tunisia. I am highly research-oriented, passionate, honest, disciplined, dedicated & hard-working to attain my aim. I am confident enough to work independently, but competent to work in a team as well. I always welcome challenges & love to solve it. My objective is to build up a career on homogenous catalysis, organometallic and organic synthesis of biologically active compounds based research areas. I graduated with a doctoral degree in Synthesis, characterization, environmental aspect and biological activities of polyheterocyclic compounds containing coumarin and metal complexes containing N-Heterocyclic Carbene ligands: New ligands, coordination, catalytic potential for Suzuki, Sonogashira coupling reactions and hydrogenation transfer. During my research work, I discovered useful synthetic strategies of the cooperative catalysis system of palladium, silver, ruthenium and transition metal-catalyzed synthesis of complex organic molecules through sequential reactions involving C-H bond activation and subsequent C-C, C-O, and C-N bond formation.
