Ertugrul Sahmetlioglu is a Professor at the Department of Basic Science, the Kayseri University, is conducting his research inthe Nanotechnology Research Center of Erciyes University Kayseri Turkey. He received his B.S.degree at Erciyes University, Kayseri Turkey in1997.He had his M.S. and Ph.D degrees at Nigde University in2000 and 2004, respectively. He was a Postdoctoral Felow at the Department of Chemistry at the Middle East Technical University, Ankara/Turkey, in 2005 for a year and he did his post-doctorate studies as a visiting scholar in the Chemistry Department at the University of Florida between2012-2013 for a year. He worked at the Chemistry department of Nigde University,Nigde/Turkey from1998 to 2015.His research areas are electrochemical polymerization, conducting polymers, electrochromism, enzyme immobilization, oxidative polymerization, enzymaticoxidative polymerization, nanocomposites, biodegradable polymers, carbonnanotubes, graphene and supercapacitors.
