Dr. Tabll has a good experience in cell culture techniques particularly of in the establishment of cell lines for production of mouse monoclonal antibodies, for immuno-diagnosis and cell lines for production of human monoclonal antibodies for immunotherapy. He, also, has a good experience in the applications of flow cytometry (cell cycle analysis and cell surface markers (immunopheotyping and cell sorting). In the last 10 years, Dr. Tablls’ research was focused on vaccine development against hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection, and the production of diagnostic and therapeutic monoclonal antibodies. Dr. Tabll visited the USA twice, as post Doc (Connecticut health center 2006 for 6 months, and Yale University 2013-2014 as a visiting professor for 6 months). He was awarded a scholarship funded by DAAD as post doc at the virology Institute, Essen, Germany, in 2010 and Gottingen University in 2012 funded by STDF. Dr. Tabll presented his research data in several international workshops and conferences in France, UK, Italy, Germany (2010, 2012, 2013), Turkey, Croatia (2014, 2015, 2016, 2018, 2019), Japan, Mexico and Saudi Arabia (2017,2018,2019). Dr. Tabll was awarded the Egyptian state Encouragement Prize in biological sciences in 2004 and The National Research Center Prize for Scientific Excellence in Advanced Technological Sciences serving the medical fields in 2018. Dr. Tabll published more than 66 international articles in reputable journals. He was a PI, Co –PI and member in several local and international projects. Dr. Tabll has supervised several M.Sc. and ph.Ds in different faculties and disciplines and also was an examiner for local and international project proposals; in addition, he was an examiner for several promotions Committee for associate professor (s) promotions (internationally). Dr. Tabll is a member of promotion Committee for Biological science in Egypt. Dr. Tabll established his scientific school in the national research Centre and supervised several masters and PhD degrees and lot of his students were awarded scientific prizes (two women from NRC). Currently, Dr. Tabll is a visiting professor in Immunology department, in Egypt Center for Research and Regenerative Medicine (ECRRM) (ex-NAMRU-3) to establish a unit of hybridoma for production of immunodiagnostic and immunotherapeutic monoclonal antibodies.
