Post-doctorate in the area of Human Physiology. She works on the development of experimental models of gastrointestinal and liver diseases, evaluating the pathophysiological mechanisms involved in the diseases, as well as the action of antioxidant substances. She has extensive experience in various biochemical and molecular techniques, especially investigating markers of oxidative stress, inflammatory processes, heat shock proteins, endoplasmic reticulum stress, apoptosis, autophagy, and histological evaluation, among others. She participated in numerous national and international congresses and scientific meetings presenting the results of her work.She has more than 35 articles published in international periodicals . She is currently developing an experimental project for liver cirrhosis, evaluating the intestine-liver axis with attention focused on the intestinal microbiota. And also a project evaluating the action of pulsed radiofrequency on muscle injuries.
